Medical Insurance (Obamacare)

The Health Insurance arena has certainly changed a great deal in the last several years. Deadlines, enrollment periods, coverage options, etc. have all changed and require some extra work to make sure you're getting the coverage you need when you need it.

Another unfortunate side effect of this legislation is that more and more insurance companies are choosing to not pay commissions to agents for helping clients enroll. While you can certainly enroll yourself by (visiting or by calling the Health Insurance Marketplace at 800-318-2596), agents provide valuable assistance in evaluating & choosing plans as well as assisting with claims/billing issues throughout the year.

Although we would prefer to continue assisting clients with their health insurance needs, these changes have made it unrealistic for us to do so at this time.

We do, however, have several options available for helping you cover your deductibles and other out of pocket expenses. Our Accident plans, Hospital Indemnity plans, and GAP plans will help you pay large deductibles, co-pays, and co-insurance with rates that, in some cases, are cheaper the the health plan itself. Visit our Indemnity Page for more information.
